Update

Did I forget to mention we have another girl. Vyerra was born in August 2010. She is a fun healthy baby and keeps me busy. Sarah is a wonderful big sister and a "little mom." The girls love going on walks, especially to the neighborhood park. Sarah has moved on to "paper" books and the board books are now in Vyerra's room. Sarah takes after her parents and is frequently distracted by her books. She also has an active imagination and will sing or tell stories to herself and others. At nap time we have heard her talking to herself for over 2 hours. Luckily, she usually she falls asleep earlier. Vyerra is very easy-going and is often content to watch Sarah or be babied by her as long as Mom is in the room. She loves to be held and is definitely a mommy's girl. Vyerra is crawling all over and standing, while Sarah runs more than walks. They certainly keep me busy.

The other day I was upstairs changing Vyerra's diaper and getting her ready for lunch, when Sarah called up "I've got the picnic ready and am putting my shoes on." I told her to wait and hurried downstairs with Vyerra. She had packed a plastic grocery bag with yogurt, Vyerra's baby food, 2 spoons for her and Vyerra, 2 apples, a box of macaroni and cheese, and a bottle of alfredo sauce. She informed me I needed to get my food. We postponed the picnic due to the wind, but I was impressed.
